In my professional practice I use a full frame DSLR camera with perspective control lenses designed especially for architecture. Aside from being incredibly sharp and free of aberations, these lenses allow me to turn 3 point perspective into 2 or 1 point perspective without compromising the image composition.

For interior photo sessions I tether my camera to a laptop to evaluate the resulting images on site. This is how I include the client in the creative process. After determining the composition, I construct the image by bringing additional light sources; decreasing or removing reflections; and taking multiple exposures to be blended in post production.

The following pairs of images compare an initial exposure without lighting and post production versus a finished image.
